Software for an rs232 Scantron device determines that you're done scanning forms if there's no serial activity for 2 seconds, instead of waiting for the "I'm done" signal that the giant honking "I'm done" button on the Scantron can send.

After upgrading to MacOS 10.6.2 and Safari 4, the only way to get smooth Flash playback on my MacBook Air is to install Windows in BootCamp.

Exchange will happily let you schedule meetings and then not send e-mail, which results in nobody knowing about the meeting, but it will still show up on your view of their calendar.
